VisuArt™

What sets Lucciare apart from all other creators of engineered surfaces is our trademarked VisuArt™ manufacturing process.

What is VisuArt™? It’s our dynamic process we use to first design and then create our proprietary surfaces. VisuArt™ is comprised of three fundamental pillars: Mindset, Design, and Applied Science.

Our first pillar, mindset, begins with a journey. A journey to the unique inspirations for each of our designs. Our design teams will travel from the marble mountains of Carrara, to the granite quarries of Val d’Aran to analyze every facet of these unique stones down to their molecular composition. Each vein, each texture, each crystalline structure is carefully notated through three-dimensional analysis in the pursuit of manufacturing excellence.

It’s a complicated and thorough process, but we are committed to achieving aesthetic excellence. This is the Lucciare Mindset: dedication to production of authentic and complex design through cutting-edge research and analysis.

Once we have analyzed the natural stone models, we begin the meticulous process of creating production models. We combine different raw materials to best emulate the crystal structure of the natural stone, changing percentages until our product is indistinguishable from quarried earth. We examine the vein depth of the natural stone, and then use proprietary technologies to imbue our engineered surfaces with the same depth and complexity as marble and granite. Our pigments do not simply rest on the surface; they dive through the stone, imbuing it with a rhythm and force unparalleled by any stone – natural or manufactured.

While natural stone is rich with organic beauty, the veins of natural stone can be inconsistent and haphazard. Using our VisuArt™ process, we design the placement of the veins and bands within our engineered surfaces with home placement in mind, increasing the vein complexity and pigmentation. Each Lucciare pattern maximizes the design aesthetic on your surfaces, allowing us to surpass the beauty of Mother Nature herself.

This is the Lucciare Design: aesthetic that evokes the grandeur and majesty of Earth while optimizing the pattern and pigmentation for consumer consumption.

When a client selects a Lucciare pattern, we continue the VisuArt™ process by producing the desired engineered surface in an eco- manner. Extracting stone from the Earth not only depletes finite resources of rare stone, but also contributes to pollution and destruction of natural landscapes. Lucciare’s VisuArt™ manufacturing process recycles industrial byproducts, minerals, and plastics to craft consumer-grade surfaces with no additional quarrying needed.

Finely ground sandstone and other minerals are compressed at near-melting temperatures to a crystalline ceramic that is further fused with resin from recycled plastics to produce our durable, non-porous surfaces.

Throughout Lucciare’s manufacturing process, the utmost care is taken to ensure the health and safety of our craftspeople. The air is filtered to reduce particulate. Our factories then collect and recycle the dust and water from the manufacturing process, reducing waste and lowering consumer costs.

This is the Lucciare Applied Science: sintering and fusing disparate materials to produce sustainable and eco-friendly consumer products that rival and surpass natural stone surfaces.

That is our secret. That is our VisuArt™ process. It’s the end-to-end journey to craft luxury stone with the consumer and the Earth in mind. By drawing inspiration from Mother Nature, and crafting our product from recycled materials, we create artisan engineered surfaces that transcend the designs of Earth herself.

Lucciare has been producing luxury engineered surfaces for over 10 years. In this decade, Lucciare has invested in the most advanced technologies, and continues to re-invest our profits into research and development, guaranteeing that each VisuArt™ design is more elegant than the last.

The end result is durable, non-porous, microbial-free, surface that is far more resistant to consumer stress than natural stone.

It’s our homage to nature – designed for you.
